Help your child to develop a long lasting friendship beyond boundaries!
USA Children Received Christmas Cards from Zambia (2/1/07 updated)
What is True Friendship Family Partner (TFFP) ?
This program is the backbone of Sharing the Blessing. It began in 2003 and was implemented in August 2004 when the new appointed IRFF international director visited Ndola in Zambia, Southern East Africa. Children and young adults (age 5 through 18) from America have built a new friendship with the assistance of their parents, among the children in Mackenzie, a remote and impoverish community of Ndola. By 2004 the exchange of information, photos, stories has developed to the point that one American middle school student could visit her friend and witness the reality of life she could only read about until then. Also Zambia has one of the most exciting Safari and the scenery Victoria Falls is listed among the Seven Wonders of the World.
This type of friendship reflects the purpose and goal of Sharing the Blessing: the unique blessing each of these kids carries and can take to the end of the world, to share and inspire others. Through this project Sharing the Blessing is tearing down the barrier of race, nationality, religion and culture among the youth.
